anyways the reason im taking the time to write you guys is im a 25 year old rapper trying to find somebody or somewhere to do my thing..i don’t have shit but this computer that is dial up internet with a 8 dollar microphone.lol but not funny..i got some ate up ass instrumentals that are old as hell and not whats up ya feel me..i use windows movie maker audio not video cause a web cam wont even work on my computer, ya and i put my instrumentals cd in the drive and play it through windows media player and record…..fucking terrible quality and believe it or not sometimes i make that shit come out good…rap is my passion and thats real talk. where i live nobody does shit with music much less fucking rap. and if somebody does fuck around thats really all they do is fuck around they aren’t serious bout nothing. i don’t even have one friend that gets down on the mic like i do. i live in the fucking country “BFE”. so i don’t make alot of money nor does my family. i used to flip whatever whenever til my fucking skin felt 3rd degree burned almost from being so hott. i am lucky i never got caught up and really its a blessing that i never did cause now i know 4show that GOD has a tru plan for me no doubt….all i want is a chance to work wit someone that has the resources and is 4show serious cause i can almost bet anything that i DEF. got what it takes. i have been writing and rapping for a long time im not perfect but im a perfectionist bet dat. i will never give up with or without you but please if you can help me please do. i’ve never felt like i needed anybody but my beautiful wifee yvonne marie and ofcourse myself cause life is def. what you make it….BUT I NEED YOU…………….hitt me up i promise you won’t be sorry

Yes, it’s a pretty tough system to beat. There are a few groups of people that are upset about it, and are actually trying to do something, although it’s a process. I read over at Grits for Breakfast that there is supposedly an overhaul to the surcharge system coming soon (this month? I can’t remember when), and especially noteworthy is an indigence clause that will allow folks to keep their licenses or drastically reduce their fines. If you are on Facebook, you can do a search for a group called “United Against the NTTA” – from what I understand, they are trying to do something…

What can I do to help repel this awful program. I have a good driving record, never once driven without insurance, and paid the fine (I didn’t have my new, current insurance card when stopped). Now on top of keeping up with my insurance all these years, paying a citation (foolishly), I have to pay $260.00 for three years. Why!!!! I feel worse for other people out there, I will be OK, I think. Everyone I tell about this program laughs because it sounds like the Mafia in Texas. When we got the letter, we thought we were victims of some type of scam, then realized it was a true state program. I have contacted several political offices and so far have gotten zero responses. This is crazy. What is the latest status on efforts to do something about this and what can I do? LP

Well, I don’t have any questions. The issues that I have problems with are listed above. First and foremost are the overdraft fees. I know that it is possible to cap the card, because it will let you overdraft, but not past a certain amount (this may be a constant number, but still). I know the technology is available to not let someone overdraft period – I’ve seen it in action with the old Chase card. I am also unhappy with the 50 cent charge on debit purchases, which historically post to online accounts very quickly (not always, I know). The fact that using the “credit” option is encouraged leaves people with untidy balances online, and makes them susceptible to overdraft.

For companies that boast convenience and transparency (not to mention handling our nation’s students’ bank accounts), is it responsible to lure them into a web of overdraft fees?
