About

PandA is pretty much self-explanatory – if you don’t have enough to live how you want, and you’re mad about it – that’s pretty much it. Of course, this is mostly aimed at people who are struggling just to keep things that are usually considered basic human needs and rights.

Poor and Angry is the Struggle… it is the recognition of the 90 percent that govern the lower 10 and take advantage of them. As the Rich pressure the Poor to perform for less and less reward, Anger is created. Anger at the helplessness of the situation, Anger at the ruthlessness of those in charge, Anger derived from misunderstandings caused by business that chooses not to deal with its customers face to face – instead placing another underpaid Poor to handle transactions. Anger at businesses that secretly change laws to keep consumers at a disadvantage.

We represent our feelings here at PandA through multiple media styles. We use Art, Music (Hip-Hop is our mainstay right now), and Word to show the pain and struggle, the love and the hate, the brutality and moralities that we see in the world. Our goal is simply to bring people together, recognize each others’ existence, and make our lives better and safer – hopefully foiling our oppressors in the process.

We’re Poor – and we’re mad about it!
